With some information dug up from the forums I tonight collected the needed brake upgrade for my car. More info found here and here.
This will allow me to run about 1 inch large rotors all around, just by getting the proper caliper mounting brackets used on the cars that ran these rotors stock. The benefit of this upgrade is I can reuse my 2 pot front and rear calipers and run wrx pads all around. From rockauto.com I was able to source all of the needed brackets for 79 bucks for this upgrade. Then picked the rotors and pads of my choice.
Before | After | |
Front | 10.1 | 11.5 (2002 Impreza WRX) |
Rear | 10.4 | 11.4 (2001 Legacy) |
This should be a fairly nice upgrade for the money. Next we wait for packages and the next warm day, then is when the real fun comes into the room.. bedding the brakes 😀
Ended up with Raybestos rotors and StopTech pads total was under 400 with extra hardware I needed to replace.
I was informed from friend that Showclix was in Pittsburgh and Hiring while moving in a mutual friend. Could it be that needed transfer of energy that makes things ignite and take off?

fingers crossed.
As you can see the we did not get all of the snow that was suspected in the area, as it was mixing between snow and rain throughout the night. I like when it melts off the car!
This was started at about 12:30 am and ended some time around 7:30 am. shots were 30 seconds each.
